I will tell you about my experience regarding finding a job in Canada. It is not that hard, and it is not easy either. At the end of this article, you can check some resources that helped me find a job in Canada.

I have more than 4 years of experience in food and beverage where I worked as a waiter, barista, and as assistant manager in a few well-known restaurants in Lebanon. When I graduated from the university, I started officially working as a graphic designer, which led to more than 10 years of experience in Graphic design and marketing. It is funny, how time flies quickly. It is like yesterday I started my training as a waiter, funny.

Back to our subject, with all that experience, and connection, I arrived here in Canada and I couldn’t get one job in the marketing sector. I did a lot of interviews, but at the end of the day, I didn’t get any job.

Finding a job in Canada is easy, I got many interviews, and many jobs offer in restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets, but I couldn’t have something in the marketing field.

Therefore, after 3 months of trying, I took the decision to start a new career. So now I am a banker. Funny, I am not into money, calculation, or loans… but I did a few pieces of training and now I am a Banker. But of course, I won’t forget my passion for Graphic design. So I am working on a small business that I will launch soon 🙂
