The first cultural shock is very common among immigrants in Canada. While for me, I have many Cultural shocks which I will be mentioning soon. As a Lebanese coming from Lebanon, I witnessed a beautiful country full of natural landscapes and wonderful cultures and traditions.
Unfortunately, some facilities don’t exist in my country. And that is what shocked me hehe. The system, the laws, and the public transportation. After all, I think this shock term is subjective.
It is lovely to go on a ride during the summer using the public transportation. And this is my first cultural shock, to see all the facilities that are offered from this country to its people. It is not 100% perfect but at least there is a good public transportation.
Sometimes it is a good idea to take the Bus, sometimes it is preferable to walk. A 20 min walk might be a 5 min ride by taxi and a 40 min ride by bus! But again, at least the government offered the public transportation, a service that can help the people in traveling and there is no harm to develop it in the future to make it more user-centric.
