Forrest Gump – “For rest”, gum. Or what taught us that life is “like a box of chocolate”, the box being ironic because it is when you are in an apartment building watching “For rest” and chewing gum. The chocolate is ironic because it is dark in Lebanon, the only country with fake electricity. And by fake, I mean stolen. Anyhow, with that being said, let’s get back to the movie review. “For rest”, is an adorable human who knows all the answers always although having a lower Intelligence quotient than the others. But what is the other, or the big O? Just an illusion as you’ll find out at the end of the day, or any therapy if you’ve gone through any sessions of these.
For rest, runs a lot and doesn’t rest before his beloved makes an announcement. What is the announcement? Why did she wait so much to say it? How does “For rest” meet the president and deliberately feel the urge to pee? Who put the smiley on the smiley face? Find out by watching this classic unconventional movie that made people laugh and cry at the same time like some kind of mood disorder!
